Greetings to all Rick Bosetti supporters – -
The message below is from Rick Bosetti:
I just wanted to let all of my supporters know the GREAT news that happened this weekend. The NORTHSTATE FARM AND BUSINESS PAC in support of Rick Bosetti had $300K deposited into it. This is going to be a game changer. We need to keep working as hard as we can to get the word out about our positions. Knocking on doors and making those phone calls between now and election day is vital.
Our opponent is now fully committed to the government unions that are holding his leash.
He just had more contributions come in from the Prison Guards Union and a Statewide law Enforcement Union.
This battle is 2010 all over again, probusiness and the private sector versus government unions. Please remember when you are talking to voters to ask them this question, ” Are you satisfied with the Government Union control that we have of our State Legislators at this time?”
Now the Unions are trying to buy a Republican to send down from the 1st Assembly District. We will not let it happen.
Thank you all again for your committed support.
Rick
Needless to say, we are very pleased to get this additional financial support. It will certainly assist the campaign. Even though Dahle is accepting government union support we sense a real momentum shift. If all of our supporters keep working for Rick, we will prevail in November. Remember that absentee ballots are going out this week in most counties. People will begin voting and we want them voting for Rick Bosetti for the First District seat in the California Assembly.
Thanks for your continued support.

Redding, Calif. – In order to justify the frivolous spending in Sacramento, Governor Jerry Brown qualified Proposition 30 for the November 2012 General Election. Redding Councilman Rick Bosetti has joined the “California for Reform and Jobs, Not Taxes” coalition to oppose the 50 billion dollar tax increase.
“The North State needs to stand up against this blank check that enables the liberals in the legislature to continue to overspend without restraints,” commented Councilmember Bosetti. “We cannot give Sacramento a blank check, we cannot give them our jobs and we cannot give them our vote.”
Negative highlights of Proposition 30:
-
Raises sales and income taxes on all Californians as much as 50 billion dollars over the next seven years
-
Destroys small businesses and kills jobs
-
Doesn’t provide ANY new funding for schools
-
Includes NO reform
Councilmember Bosetti has also sent our requests to many North State local leaders and small businesses to join the measure.

In his campaign for Assembly, Councilmember Bosetti has taken a position against new taxes and has received support from California’s two largest anti-tax groups, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association and the National Taxpayers Protection Committee.

The California Rifle and Pistol Association Gives Rick Bosetti an “A” Grade
Bosetti was the only candidate in AD 1 to receive the highest possible grade
(Redding, Calif.) – The California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA) recently released their voter guide awarding Republican Rick Bosetti an “A”. The candidate’s score and/or past voting record and legislative efforts were taken into consideration before a final grade was assigned. CRPA ratings are solely based on a candidate’s position on Second Amendment and hunting related issues.
Bosetti was the only candidate in AD 1 to receive the highest possible grade. The “A” grade indicates a pro-gun candidate who strongly supports CRPA positions. For a complete list of CRPA’s voting recommendations click here.
Founded in 1875, the California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA) is an organization of sportsmen dedicated to the preservation of our American heritage. In this age of constant political attacks on the rights of law-abiding citizens to own and use firearms for legitimate purposes, the CRPA is the state organization dedicated to protecting firearm freedoms and promoting shooting sports in the State of California.

Rick Bosetti has received financial support from a combination of farming and business interests. Last week, the Northstate Farm and Business PAC dumped more than $100,000 into an “independent” expenditure on behalf of Rick Bosetti’s Assembly campaign.
The support base for Bosetti is certainly growing!
He has my vote.
Even before the campaign began, Rick called me up and asked about Scott Valley Protect Our Water and the issues we were facing, including fighting state agencies. I was president of POW at the time. He quickly understood why we were saying “NO” to over-regulations and expressed support.
No other candidate called me to discuss our situation. Rick took the initiative to check us out and our issues.
Yep, Rick Bosetti earned my vote!
