We must attend the Siskiyou R C D meeting , Aug. 2, 2012.
Time is 7 p.m.
Where: Etna City Hall — street level on Main Street.
Item # 2 Business ( Action ) : NCRWQCB is offering GRANT money to the RCD if it can find “willing” ranchers to create a Ranch Plan.
It will NOT, nor will other agenda items have any benefit to landowners .
In fact it’s all about controlling what you can do on your property and more importantly, what you will not be allowed to do . It seems every agency wants to require you to have a permit for everything .
The Siskiyou R C D has no money .
For them to generate monies, they sign agreements with any agency for any reason .
Remember the I T P program . Who was the lead agency ? Siskiyou R C D.
The California mandate for R C D is to assist Ranchers, Farmers, and Property owners – not to help agencies create programs to regulate us out of business and threaten the taking of our property.
Everyone needs to attend this meeting. WE NEED TO BE PRO-ACTIVE.
